Inflammation and Obesity

I chose this article because I researched it during the discussion board and found it interesting. I have always known that inflammation is the root cause of all kinds of problems. However, I didn’t know that it directly affected weight gain. I would love to build off of that some more in the future.

I chose this article because it is the current climate we live in, especially in recent years during the lock downs. My target population for my health promotion program is adolescents, since we build a foundation in these years right before adulthood. Being able to find ways to preoccupy our teens, they can begin building good habits.

I chose this article because there has always been the discussion on what to eat before and after workouts. I like how it states that every person is different, because it is so true. I am a firm believer that one person may be different than the other. The persons goals are going to be a contributing factor as well, whether they are trying to lose weight, or gain muscle mass.
